stlink is an in-circuit debugging and programming tool for ST-Link v1
and v2 devices. It is similar to OpenOCD but just for ST-Link devices.
https://github.com/texane/stlink
IMPORTANT: You need permissions to access the stlink usb devices. Here
are example udev rules for stlink v1 and v2 so you don't need to have
root permissions (copied from <stlink>/49-stlink*.rules):
SUBSYSTEMS=="usb", ATTRS{idVendor}=="0483", ATTRS{idProduct}=="3744", MODE:="0666", SYMLINK+="stlinkv1_%n"
SUBSYSTEMS=="usb", ATTRS{idVendor}=="0483", ATTRS{idProduct}=="3748", MODE:="0666", SYMLINK+="stlinkv2_%n"
Activation scripts are run before systemd is started, so unless users
are loading firmware in the initrd (which AFAICT we currently have no
support for) the previous /sys-based setting of firmware_class was
ineffective on boot.

This should solve many issuses, including:
- show mountable volumes and mount-on-click (in Thunar)
- fix shutdown actions (and don't ask for password anymore)
It doesn't explicitly depend on anything in x-updates,
but AFAIK noone has tested it against master (yet).
Connected to #441.
The recent sqlite update broke -- among other things -- the Hydra regression
test suite. Until these issues have been resolved, we stick to the older
reliable version.
- drop custom config:
(please wacom using folks review this part and think
about how to get it back if its important to you)
- put default config shipping with xf86_input_wacom
into /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/
which seems to be interpreted again when
devices are hot plugged
- when starting x11, also provide xinput
.. you never know when you need it
This fixes all problems I had:
- device only worked when plugged in, then xorg was started
(an alternative quick fix is switching to terminal by ctrl-alt-F1 and back)
- I had to disable some devices, because eg myaint switched input
device many times a sec rendering it unusable otherwise, some of those devices
configured did not work.

See 12 -> HAL or xorg.conf.d
- Add version 3.7.14.1 again, so that we can work around issues caused
by the recent 3.7.16.1 update.
- Drop obsolete version 3.6.x.
- Consistently use the sqlite version number to name the file of the
expression.
