Soveriegns Of Bell Introdutory Issue
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Welcome to the premire issue of Soveriegns Of Bell. I know what you are saying
"Oh shit, another fukcing group. Whaen will this attack ever end?" And you know
what? You're right. Another fucking group. And if you don't like it, oh well. I
don't really care. Actually I do, but that's besides the point. What was I
talking about again? Never mind. Anyway, I guess I ought to explain the short
history of this group and how it came about.
For about a year, there was a group called Unknown. A couple of good friends
and I decided that it would be cool if we could get a bunch of people together
and form our own group. It sounded like a good idea, so we got it started. As
time went on, and we spread out from the local scene, the group got bigger, and
started having distribution sites pretty much all over the country. And, well,
we could not get anything done. We finally collected enough information to put
in a magazine format, and did so. It did not seem like a very big hit, and
interest slackened. The groups forward progress came to a virtual stand-still.
I got frustrated and after several futile attempts at getting people together,
I called my Senior staff over to my house and we decided to abandon the group.
We still wanted to be active, and since it seems that we had such twisted
minds, that it would suit us to form a group, but this time make it a text
based group, concentrating on humor and some PH here and there. Well, the
existing members of Unknown decided they would like to be a part of this new
organization, and volunteered their sevices. At the end I will provide a
current listing of the existing members.
So, here we are. Like us or not, that's your choice. Be looking for us, and
flick off your local Bell serviceman for us.

Soveriegns Of Bell Issue #1 - The InterBox
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
OK. My purpose for writing this file is to shut people up about how
they are sick of putting a speaker from their SB, etc. up to their fone reciver.
This box will enable you to detect when the line is ringing, when the called
party has hung up, will allow you to hear what is on the line when it is both
on and off hook <allowing for line monitoring>, and applying a signal to the
fone line. Pretty cool, huh? I thought so.
Now, first, I have to clear my ass. If you continue reading, I, nor any
body else is responsible for you fucking up, getting busted, and embarrasing
your mother, me, and the entire H/P scene. You are on your own. No one else but
you is held liable for your dumb ass phucking something up. There. Now, onto
the box.
Instead of giving you some lame instructions, I will show what to do
in the form of schematics. If you can't figure them out, check out a book on
them at the good 'ol local library. Here goes...

OK, so you have the beast wired. Now, let me tell you how to connect
it. The ring detect lines will close and conduct when the line rings. It
functions almost like a switch. Also, the party hangup lines function like
switches, except that when the party you called hangs up, this will pulse.
The line seize lines connect your sound input and output to the line. When
12 volts is not applied to these lines, the box goes into monitor mode, and
all audio will be passed to the audio I/O channel, and in effect, bugging the
line. When 12 volts is present at these lines, however, you can connect a 1/8"
plug to the audio I/O channel, and either connect it to an audio source, or to
the input of a recordng device to record what is said or heard on the fone.
I suppose that wrapps it up. If you have questions regarding this box, leave
me mail or something, and I'll be glad to help out. <part II will be released
shortly after this first release, where I will show you different tricks with
this box>. Also note that this interface complies FULLY with the FCC type 68
fone device, and, in itself is perfectly legal.

Soveriegns Of Bell Issue #2 - The Unthought-Of Truth
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The blood-covered pus of a reopened cut led me to believe that the wound I
had received from my father a month ago would never heal. I remember the broken
beer bottle jabbed into my chest. I never went to the hospital or to the
doctor. I never got any stitches; just a box of band-aids. I covered up the
deep gash with nearly a whole box of the plain, generic band-aids my father
reluctantly bought for me. This morning, I was sitting on the steep stairs that
led to the dark, dusty basement. My quiet, little bedroom was down there in
this desolate place that I call `Home.' Then, all-of-the-sudden, my little
eight year-old brother pushed me. I tumbled down in the dark and fell on a
sharp shred of my brother's plastic phone that he had thrown down and broke
earlier that week. I pulled off my shirt and looked. The shred of the toy
phone had given me a second gash. I looked at my brother and yelled some words
I had learned from my dad. I had no idea what they meant, but I knew they meant
something bad. He took off running up the stairs, screaming. By now, the floor
space that I was sitting on was covered with fresh blood. I looked again at my
newest wound and pulled the shred of plastic out. I washed the wound with some
water and some old soap I was lucky to find. Then I went back downstairs to
wash the blood covered floor.
The next night my drunken dad came home. My brother and I were sitting in a
corner of our front room. My dad fell back on the dirty, old, and moldy couch
with his beer and remote. Broken fragments of glass from a fight a month ago
between my dad and I remained on the thin carpet, reflecting light from the
television. I stood up and took my underprivileged little brother to the
bathroom to get him ready for bed. After five or so minutes of attempting to
force my brother to brush his teeth, I went back to the smoke-filled room where
my father still sat.
"Come here, dork," my father belched. I slowly walked over to the couch.
My dad looked up at me. It actually felt good to see him looking up at me. My
enjoyment was cut short by a sharp jab to my stomach. "Go get my beer," he
belched again. I went to our small now murky green refrigerator and looked in.
Our refrigerator was usually filled with only beer, but the stock had gone low.
"There isn't any more, Dad," I replied. He jumped up, threw me against the
wall, and smacked me a few times in the jaw. I started moaning, but he just
kept hitting harder. I could feel blood running down my chin and onto my
surprisingly clean white shirt. It was now running down my leg and onto my left
shoe. He picked me up by my neck and threw me against the TV, which was still
on. I fell over along with it. I could hear the glass shatter and jut into my
hand. I felt a short electric shock and could smell smoke from a short-circuit.
I attempted to get up, but I was too weak from all the blood I had lost in the
last month. He picked me up, yelled something at me, and threw me on the dingy
couch. I knocked over his beer can, spilling what was left in the container.
He pulled his black leather belt from his belt-loops and started to beat me with
it. I knew he was furious with me, but I didn't really care right then. I had
other things to worry about.
The next morning I could barely even bend my legs. Black and purple bruises
were all over my back, with some still bleeding cuts. When I staggered up the
large, dark stairs I could tell my dad was smoking. He just stared blankly at
me and my limping. He threw a twenty-dollar bill on our wooden table and just
said, "Go out and buy me some beer." I hesitated for a second and then reached
for the bill. He slammed his fist down on mine. His greasy hands stung my now
reopened cut. I didn't dare yelp; that would only make it worse.
I walked down the cracked concrete sidewalk, attempting to decipher the
heavily graffitied walls. I finally reached the small liquor store with all the
fluorescent signs at the end of the block. I walked in and was overwhelmed with
the rare afternoon crowd. I walked past the many posters and signs to the back
where the "Bud Light" was stored. I attempted to pick up a case, but I was
still very weak. I tried again, succeeding this time. I carried it as I limped
to the front counter of the store.
"You can't buy that; you're underage," said the long-haired man with tatooed
covered arms and several rings in his ears and nose. I can usually get away
without showing any ID, although I'm still five years too young to purchase
alcohol. "You'll have to go get your father," he replied after I didn't say
anything. He reached over the small wooden counter and patted me on my bruised
back. I tried to protest as he lifted up the back of my shirt, but he easily
overpowered me. "My gosh, what happened?" he asked. I would have told him that
I fell down the stairs, but I already told him that excuse several times before
when he noticed. I simply replied that I took a terrible spill while attempting
a nollie 180 degree heelflip tailslide shove-it while skateboarding. I started
walking out the door as I heard the man call out to me, saying, "Don't forget to
bring your father back with you!"
When I got home I found my father just lying on the couch. (I was surprised
the TV wasn't on, but then I remembered what had happened last night) "They
wouldn't let me buy it," I said. My father jumped up and said angrily, "Fine."
I was expecting him to punch me, but surprisingly he didn't. He then picked up
his belt. I was scared stiff now. It turned out he was simply putting it on.
He grabbed his smoky coat and as he walked out the door, he said, "Come on, lets
go."
I could tell my dad was impatient and was craving beer now; he walked down
the sidewalk much faster than usual. As we turned the corner I saw a police
officer across the street. When we walked into the store, the cashier greeted
me by saying, "I see you brought your father this time." I took the small trip
to the back wall and this time easily picked up the case of beer. I brought it
to the front and plopped it onto the counter. As my dad pulled out his money,
the police officer that I saw earlier walked in the glass door. My dad paid
with the old twenty-dollar bill I had in my possession earlier that morning. As
we were leaving, the officer walked up to my dad and asked, "Is this your son?"
My dad nodded in response and kept walking, with me trailing right behind him.
The officer asked my dad to accompany him down to the station. My father looked
at me and glared. Nothing was said to me by anyone; not my father, the cashier,
or even the police officer that silently took my dad away. The cashier just
simply handed me the twenty-dollar bill back and picked up the case of beer to
take it back to the far wall.
As I walked home, I was surprisingly unhappy; not for the same reasons I'm
usually unhappy, though. It was kind of sad for me to see my own father being
taken away by the man in uniform. I took the long way home so I could think of
what to say to my little brother; I know he would be sad that dad was taken
away. I turned the corner and saw the hamburger shop that went up last week.
They still had a great `Grand-Opening Special' so I used some of the twenty
dollars that I had to buy some food for both my brother and myself. As I walked
in the unlocked door of our home, I called out to my brother. He didn't answer.
I called again, "Sammy! Where are you?!" Still to answer for him. I looked
around and saw a note on the broken television set. It was in Sammy's
handwriting. It read:
Dear Dad and Sean,
I know that I am not wanted around here. Daddy is always
yelling at me and I'm always hurting Sean somehow. While
both of you were out, I ran away to look for Mommy. I have
taken all my clothes and also enough food for a couple of
meals. Don't come looking for me and don't worry about me.
I will find Mommy in a few days and live with her!
Sam
I knew Sammy wouldn't come back, even if he wouldn't find mom. Then I
remembered Sam probably wouldn't remember at all what Mom looked like; Sam
wouldn't remember from when he was two years-old. Sam had only seen a picture
of Mom, which was taken six years ago, before she ran away. Even I couldn't
remember that much of my mother when I was eleven. All I really remember is
that she ran away because dad would always come home and beat her or yell at her
and always beat Sammy and I. There was only one thing left to do. I decided
right then that the next morning, after I got a good night's sleep, I would go
searching for both my brother and my mother.
I didn't get much sleep that night. I just mostly lied back in my `dungeon'
and thought about finding Sammy and mom. In the morning I ate the remaining
cheeseburger that was meant for Sam. Luckily I found some extra cash lying
around that dad probably forgot about. It amounted to over $50! All that cash
should last me for at least a month if I don't eat greedily. If I ran out, I
could always resort to the one trade my dad taught me: Pick-Pocketing. I picked
up my most valuable possessions and threw them in my back-pack. I jumped on my
new skateboard that I stole from a skateshop two months ago. As I rolled out
the front door I didn't look back; I didn't want to. I didn't even shut the
door.
I remembered that my grandparent's house was in a small town nearby. I
needed to check there first. This trip was fairly simple because of my skills.
I remembered several years ago in an issue of Thrasher Magazine they had an
article entitled "Hitchhiking In Six Easy Steps." Although all I remembered
from it was to be friendly, start conversations with the driver, and never walk
with your back facing oncoming cars, they all helped me in some sort of way. On
my way down the long highway, I received many rides from nice people. I was so
thankful. Some people even gave me food and offered to help find my mother; I
always turned down help searching for my mom, but I always took the food they
offered me. I finally arrived near the town that my grandparents live in. I
took the rest of the way on my board.
As I walked up the small, cracked, white steps I remembered all the good
times I had with my grandparents. I hoped so much that mom would be in the
small, broken down house that I was at now. I knocked on the door; no answer.
I knocked again, this time louder. Still no answer. I decided to check if the
door was unlocked. It squeaked as I opened it. I called out for my mother. No
answer. I walked throughout the whole house, but saw nobody; only signs that
somebody still lived there. I would wait outside for when my grandparents would
come home.
As I waited outside, several people walked by, but no one came up the small,
desolate steps leading to the house. It was almost dark when someone I
recognized walked by. They were the next-door neighbors. I jumped off the old,
warped, wooden porch and yelled out to them. They didn't recognize me. When I
asked about the people living in the old white house, the old woman replied that
they moved to another nearby city. I had to go searching for them.
I set out again, hitchhiking, the next morning. This time I wouldn't have
to travel that far, so I mostly skateboarded instead of trying to get rides.
After about three days of traveling, I finally saw a sign that indicated I was
within the city limits. I went to a gas station to look at a map of the town.
I found where I was supposed to go, so I set out right away. I way very anxious
now. Would I really find my grandparents and my mother? I reached the street
the address was on. I turned down it and by now I started jogging. I couldn't
wait! Just a few more houses! Then I saw the truth. It was a vacant lot with
only a concrete foundation. Only a few pipes remained, sticking out of the
charcoal-blackened concrete. This couldn't be the correct address; it just
couldn't. I looked around some more, but no luck finding the address. I
finally resorted to asking one of the neighboring homes about the vacant lot
with the burned foundation. I could not face the truth. I was told that and
elderly couple and their thirty-five year-old daughter use to live there. Last
December an electrical fire started inside the house. It burned to the ground,
killing all three of the occupants. I knew this had to be the story of my
mother and grandparents.
Now I live in a foster home. They treat my very nicely and are putting me
through school. I have given up looking for my little brother, Sammy. I know
the truth that my mom died in a house fire. I wouldn't go back to my father,
even if I could; he's still in jail. My life has been turned around from the
worst to now the best.

How To Make A Miniture Chlorine Factory In Your Garage
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
First off, lets get one thing clear. This should NOT under ANY
circumstances be attempted. Period. Thats all there is to it. I, or any
ascociates shall or will be held liable for your dumb ass fucking something
up. There. Now that that's said and done, on to THE CHLORINE FACTORY.
Gather some basic materials. First, you need 2 large flasks or
bottles <1/2 gallon or so>, a small flask, 2 one hole rubber stoppers, a
3 hole rubber stopper <probably need to be hand made>, about 5 or 6 feet
or rubber <I perfer silicone> fishtank tubing, about a foot and a half of
glass or hard plastic pipe that will fit inside the ends of the rubber
tubing, some kind of container to fill with the chlorine <I perfer baloons>,
and 2 aquarium air control valves.
First, construct the system, as designed in the following diagram:
__________ __________
\ / -- Fill with ammonia \ / -- Fill with Clorox
\~~~~~~/ Large Flask \~~~~~~/ Large Flask
\ / \ /
\__/ \__/
| Chlorine Container |
| |

| ___ |
|_____________ / \ __________________|

| | |
|___ | ___|
|| |
----
/ \ -- Small Flask
/ \
/________\
Now, you have it set up. Flip over the 2 large flasks so that the clorox and
ammonia will flow down the tubes. Ok, now here is the important part. Begin
by turning on the ammonia flask's valve just enough to get a trickle of
liquid started in the small flask. Repeat with the other bottle. Now,
gradually turn them up, but never let the fluid get above 1/4 mark of the
flask. The gas should begin acumulating in the container for the clorine. The
trick to it is to get a valve setting that will create optimum gas output.
Make VERRRY sure, however, that the seals on EVERYTHING is EXTREMELY secure.
Chlorine is leathal, and will kill you if taken in even small quantities. The
liquid should change to gas at a steady rate and maintain a rather stable
fluid level in the small flask. If not, adjust the valves. Now, when you have
accumulated enough gas, shut off the valves, return the large flasks to an
upright condition, and cap off the container for the chlorine VERY SECURELY!
It is recomended that you pick up an unused gasmask at the next gunshow, and
handle everything with gloves. You now have a very toxic chemical on your
hands. This makes for very effective animal killing and such. Use your
imagination. Heh.
Until next time, keep it safe.

Tenet - What It Is And How To Use And Abuse It
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Introduction
-=-=-=-=-=-=-
One of friends knew an assitant principal at NEISD. He came home one day with a
number for his modem that logged into a strange system that he had never seen
before. Granted, he didn't hack much at the time, but he knows what most systems
look like. He said it was a UNIX system with a menu shell around it. Naturally I
was curiuos, so I dialed it up when he was over at my house one day just to
check it out. I couldn't really figure out anything that he didn't already know,
and noticed that it was hooked up to Internet. This really caught my attention
because the latest thing with me was how to access the Internet. I asked him to
look more into it and he said he would, and a few days later he called me up. He
said "Check this out! I found out how to FTP and Telnet out of this thing!" I
was like, yeah big deal, I know a million places that do that. Then he said
"Yeah, it's like all the rest except it's a 16.8 Dual Standard dialin." Now this
really got my attention, because I was tired of downloading on a 9600 line at
500 CPS. So, we did a rundown on the thing. Here's what we came up with :
Name : Tenet - Texas Education Network
Dialin : FTP or Telnet 128.83.185.91 (Tenet.Edu) or phone at :
Austin (512)472-0602 Fort Worth (817)795-2902

Accesses : FTP, Tenet, Internet Mail, And a variety of other Texas education
bullshit.
Doesn't Access : You cannot use IRC, CC (C Compiler) and there are no Usenet
feeds. You cannot compile anything, so there's a big drawback.

How To Get An Account
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
I guess you can figure out how to get one - but in case you're REALLY stupid,
I'll fill you in on the ones I find extremely easy.
1. Card it. Not hard at all - you need a drop site for they mail you your
password and validation notice.
2. Social Engineer it. This is probably the best way. First, card yourself an
account, and then get on and use the command "who" (without quotes) from
the shell. This will allow you to see whose online, and whatever information
they are willing to give out. (I.G. Name, Phone Number, Address, ETC.) If
they do not give out much, you can also "finger" their account, this will
also list a lot about them. Then call 'em up and get their shit.
3. Hack 'em. This is by far the hardest. None of the defaults work - although
the root account works, it only allows login at the local end. You could do
it if you have a good dictionary - unfortuanetly I don't.
4. Pay for it. (If you're reading this section and interested, go kill yourself)
The only good I could see coming out of that is if you really ARE a teacher
or you are interested in a STABLE message point on Internet.
Tips
-=-=-
1. Don't ever use your real handle. Take normal safety precautions. You know
the deal.
2. If you are logging in as an Public or Private school teacher, administrator,
etc. you must know a county-district number of a school. This is a unique
number which identifies your County, School district and campus. It looks
something like 123-456-789. If you do not know your cdn, you must shnag it
before you can complete the registration for that account. It can be 6 or 9
digits.
3. Leave NO trace of your presence behind. If you downloaded a file of an FTP
or something, don't leave it in the user's workspace. The user may become
suspicious of files called HACKINGGOVERNMENT.COMPUTERS. Remember : you get
unlimited time online and the file will be on the FTP or whatever tommarrow.
Okay, well that's the scoop. Have fun, and if you need a Texas school code
Email me on any board or at lmb@tenet.edu. Other than that - have fun.

\__________________/_________ /__________/ Of Beige Boxing
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Introduction
-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Well, I have seen many files on beige boxing and the like, but
nothing real comprehensive and simple. So I wrote one. I will outline
good and bad things to do. But first I want to warn everyone who is
reading this : BEIGE BOXING _IS_ A FELONY. It will seriously fuck you
and your record up. It is considered a line-tapping device under some
article of the constituion. If you are smart and safe you won't get
caught, I have been boxing for about a year now, and have happily
enjoyed spending other people's money.
Anyway, fuck the feds, here's the good shit. Long Live AT&T!

Chapter I -
Beige Box Plans
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Unlike other people, I am not a electronics stud and cannot
build myself a beige box. So, I will tell you how to make one that works
just as well, and may save yourself a telephone. Go to your electronics
store and buy yourself a set of four double ended alligator clips. It
doesn't matter what color you get, but look and see if you can find a
red and green one. Now get a single phone wall jack. Now you have all
you need to make a beige box. take the wall jack, and strip the casing
holding all the wires. Then strip the red and green wires, and attach
the corosponding color alligator clips. Now, you can plug your laptop,
phone, or anything else into that jack. Proceed to attach it to the bare
wires in any Bell box, and you're in. Now that you know how easy that
is, you might even want to buy yourself a second jack and use the left
over alligator clips to make another one. What I love doing is talking
on someone's line long distance while also fucking around LD on my
laptop. What a pleasure.
Chapter II -
Materials Required When Out On Your Expeditions
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
- Sharp Knife
- 3/8" Wratchet wrench
- 9/16" Wratchet wrench
- Mini-Mag lite
- Your constructed beige box
- Paper and pencil to write down shit
- Copper phone wire - Available from your local Bell man or Rat Shack
- Other things required to make yourself a trench to bury your cable in
- Sturdy chair if you're gonna be there a while.
Chapter III -
Types Of Bell Boxes Around, and How To Get Into Them
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
The first kind of box and most common one by far are the little
green boxes. They are most of the time about 3 feet high, and are
rectangular. The sides are rounded, and they have bolts in the side.
These bolts can be taken off with a 9/16th inch wratchet. These normally
have two terminal pads on them, with about 25 lines available. All lines
aren't always hooked up, but you only need one, right? These are mostly
found in buisness office complexes, although I have seen them at the end
of the street in some old neighborhoods.
The second kind of box are about 2 feet high, and are shaped
like tall skinny cylinders. They have two bolts at the bottom of them,
but you don't even have to unscrew those, just twist the whole thing
counter clockwise and wait until you feel it move all the way. Then pull
up, and the whole casing comes off. Sometimes you may have to loosen
them, if the Bell guys have tightened them real tight, although I doubt
it because they are lazy fucks, and don't want to do the extra work.
The third kind of box is about 5-6 feet high, and about 4 feet
wide. It has two doors on the front, and two on the back. Some of the
locks on those doors are strange, I haven't yet seen a tool that opens
them, they look like this : ___
/ _ \
| | | |
| | . | |
| |_| |
\___/ Excuse the shitty drawing, but
hey. Anyway, they are circular, and have a dot in the middle. You must
need some funky tool, because I've never run into anything like that
before. Next to this thing should be a hexagonal bolt, so whip out your
9/16th inch (wratchet, I hope) and put that in there. Find the tool for
that other thing and your in. But until then, wait. Also, I have seen
the doors without those wierd locks, just a hexagonal bolt and a handle.
Put your wrench in there, turn counter-clockwise, and pull up on the
handle, and it should pop open. These are fairly rare, (ie: I have found
you will only find them one in every 4 sets of doors you look at) so you
might not be lucky enough to get in these. These fuckers are _huge_,
they have about 200 lines in each side.
The fourth kind of box are small, they are about 6 inches but a
foot. They are normally on the back of duplexes, or some newer homes.
They have two sections, the top one says "For Bell Access Only" and the
bottom says "For Customer Access". Heh, well this time whip out your
3/8inch wratchet and open this puppy. This will allow you access to
that persons line.
Chapter IV -
Good Things To Do Once You've Established a Line
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Okay, now that you know about your boxes, here's what to do with
them. When you find a box, identify where it goes to. (ie: buisness or
residential) Buisness lines are eaiser to box off of because at night no
one is there, and you for sure won't get caught on the phone. Residential
lines are better to set up conferances on, because sometimes the buisness
will have one central line, and then have a switching board that will
send incoming calls elsewhere. Okay, now that you have identified that,
open the box, strip one set of wires with your knife, and take your
alligator clips and hook them on the exposed wire. If you get a dial
tone, that's good. If you don't, try reversing your clips and checking
again. If you still don't get a dial tone, switch to another line. Now,
take the spool of wire that you have and hook it on to the two exposed
wires. Then run it somewhere where no one will see you and you can
safely box. (Note: You don't have to do this if you are out of sight,
but it will ensure your safety a little more) Make sure that the wire
isn't faulty by hooking your box back up to the other end of the wire,
and seeing if you get a dialtone. If you do, good. If you don't, check
your contacts with the spool of wire and the line in the box. Make sure
they are secure. If it still doesn't work, trash the wire and try again.
If you get it to work, then go back and dig a little trench, it doesn't
have to be deep, and bury your wire. This will allow you to stay pretty
hidden, and the only way you will be caught if you are out of sight is
if the bell guy comes and discovers your wire while you are on it. If he
does discover your wire, all he will probably do is rip it out. If you
find your cord it gone, then I wouldn't advise using that box again.
There should be plenty more around, you just have to look. Another good
thing to do is get on a residential line, do an ANI on it, call a
friend, and tell him to call you back. Then call someone else, and talk
for a little bit. If you hear a little beep while you are talking, hit
the hang up button real fast and then see if it gives you the other
person who is calling. If so that person has call waiting, and that is
good for setting up conferances or carding items. I will explain why
later.
Chapter V -
Setting Up a Conferance
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
So you want to set up a conferance, eh? Or do you know what a
conferance is? A conferance is where you can have as many people on a
line at the same time. There are many different ways of doing this, and
I will outline these. The carrier I will describe here is AT&T, and the
reason I use them instead of lets say MCI or Sprint is because they
aren't pricks about it and all. AT&T is the easiest to set up, and if
you do it right, will guanrentee you hours of fun.
The line you probably want to hook up to do this from is a
residential line. You can use a buisness line, but in the past I have
found it harder to do. Residential boxes are easier to get to, and as
you will see, eaiser to use. If you want to use a buisness box, that's
fine, do the same thing as I will outline below, but discard the call
waiting part, and make sure you do this after buisness hours.
The first thing you want to do is check and see if the line has
call waiting, as I said above. If so, that will work MUCH better as you
will see. Okay, first of all you have to decide what type of conferance
you would like. There are three main ones and they are a "Meet Me"
conferance, "PIN Dialin" conferance, and a "You Dial" Conferance.
The Meet Me is where you get your conferance, and then you tell
AT&T what number to dial, and they will dial those numbers and
establish the conferance like that. These are not that great because if
someone has to hang up the phone or whatever, they can only come back in
if you call them back. Also, the operator may be near, and if you start
talking in aliases and about phreaking and shit, she may fuck you over.
The number to establish a Meet Me conferance is 800-544-6363.
The Pin Dialin conferance by far is the best. This what most
people use. You call the operator and tell her you would like to
establish a conferance that has a PIN number that you can give out to
your "associates".
She will need these things (not neccesarily in this order):
- Your name
- The phone number it will be billed to
- What time it will start (Be sure to include your time zone)
- How Long you will use it for
- How many ports (people) you will have
Once you have given her all this, she will say please hold (they
are validating and calculating the PIN number) and then she will come
back on and say she will call you back and give you the validation
numbers. She will then call you back. Now, if you are on a residential
line and they have call waiting, call your friend, and wait for the
phone to beep. That way, those people won't even have a clue as to what
you are doing. She will give you a host PIN, which is the one you use,
and she will give you a user PIN, which you give out to everyone you
know. The number for this is also 800-544-6363.
The You Dial conferance is good, because there is no live
operator on the line, but you must stay at the phone you initiated the
call from during the whole conferance. This is how this conferance
works: Call 0+700+456+1000 and follow the recorded bitch's
instructions. (Or, read mine, below)
1. Type in the number of ports you are going to need, including your own.
2. Dial the first number
US: 1+XXX+XXX+XXXX
INTERNTL:011+COUNTRY#+CITY#+LOCAL#
When that person answers, press # to add them to the conferance.
3. Keep repeating step 2 for all the people you want on. Then press #
to add yourself to the conferance.
During Conferance Intiation:
Dial # To Continue
Dial * If it's busy, no answer, etc. to continue calling people.
NOTE:
If you, as the controller, are disconnected from the conferance, HANG
UP. An operator will automatically call you back and reconnect you to
the conferance. (This won't happen if you do it off a fucked buisness
line or whatever)
Chapter VI -
Other Miscellanious Info
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
If you want to get fancy, hook up three or four lines and then
run them down in the hole you dug. It is easier to do this the first
time then a bunch of times, also. It works really well, and you have
a regular fucking station going.
Also a good thing to do is switch lines either once every two or
three weeks, or after you put a huge charge on it like a conferance or
something.
Make sure you are out of site most of the time you are boxing.
Normally people don't care, but some people who are real nosy will come
out and question you. If they do ask you questions, don't awnser any,
pack up your stuff and leave while they are bitching. If they follow
you, lose them of course, but I have never found anyone who has followed
me more than three blocks.
Your line is also very good to place orders when carding. A lot of
times they will want to call you back, and all you have to do is my
little call waiting trick.
In closing I'd like to thank Black September and L.E. Pirate for the
original Phile on the 0-700 conferance. And, happy boxing!

TOMBSTONE - By Flatline
-----------------------
A Tombstone is where I live
And a Casket is my bed
My covers are but my skin
And my blood -- no longer red
Death is just an image
Which to everyone seems bad
Except for the flies and maggots
Nothing is really sad
The dirt is only insolation
And the grass is there for a look
The sky is colored blue
And the moon is in a hook
And as I lay here waiting
With something poking at my eye
Now I know the truth....
There is no life after you die....

Spin it again
Blades 'a slashing
Lights 'a flashing
Pain and screams 'a flying

The pavement breaks the fall
Must find that evil disco ball
Smoke fills the room
Need to change those Fruit of the Looms
Your Worst Dream is now here
Flip on the lights
YOUR FEAR IS NO MORE!!!

The wound is slowly healing,
On my shirt it starts to smear
And I have this awful feeling....
Like my victim is very near
I am God in my mind
Like the slaves' overseer
I smell flesh -- A white man's kind
In my sights -- I'm hunting him like a deer
The taste in my mouth dries
I come close and whisper in his ear
"Look into my deadly eyes"
Push him down and spill his beer
Cut his throat and watch him scream
Now he has no fear....

Worried - By Dr. No
-------------------
There is no use, I'm an oddity.
I like strange things, I do things even stranger.
People wonder about me,
but I'm not worried.
My dad is a very forceful man.
Nice when he's quiet,
mean when he's not.
I think he likes to toture people's minds.
It's probably a side effect of the military,
but I'm not worried.
We've lived in a dozen different places,
from the Land of Sunshine to the North Pole,
to a place where you can't understand what people
say without a little book.
We liked all those places, yet hated them somehow.
We live here now and will probably move again,
but I'm not worried.
Who would want a little wretch like me?
Maybe I'll find out some day.
Hidden beneath this shell of a good me is a demon,
waiting to come out.
I have tried to summon him many times, but to no avail.
He will come some day,
and I'm not worried.
Even though I'm not worried, I am in fact.
I think about these things when I am locked in my room,
listening to music and staring at the ceiling.
There I think wonderful thoughts, and terrible ones.
There I worry.

/ \ | \ Fun Things To Do In Stores
\__________________/_________ /__________/
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Walk into Victoria's Secret and say...
(to the salesman) .."Do you think this would look good on my Grandmother?"
.."Where is the whips and chains section please?"
.."Do your underwear give you a terrible rash? Mine..."
(be creative with the ending on this one..)
.."Do you guys have any type of cream that would cover
the bruises on my ass?"
.."Do you have anything that would fit eight year olds?"
When the salesman says... "May I help you?"
say... "No thank you, I think I'll just go masterbate in
the bra isle."
When you check out and he says... "Will that be all for you?"
say... "Actually, the whole time I was wondering
where the condom/magazine isle was..."
or... "Actually, can I have your penis to go.."
Go into a clothing store and...
..ask the manager if there are peep holes in the dressing rooms..
..walk into a dressing room a man, and out a woman, making sure to
get noticed..
..put a pair of underwear on over your pants and ask passer-by's if
they think they fit..
..start french kissing the manakin's, and then leave with it, and if
anyone asks, tell them you've found the "sex queen of the
universe"..
..walk into the women's lingerie section, and start smelling the
underwear, saying you have found the "Essence of Woman" in Fruit
Of the Loom..
Walk in to any store and ..
..looking conspicuous, touch everything in the store very slowly..
..recreate Ghostbuster's scenes with the gatekeeper/keymaster theme..
..discover new ways of drinking from the water fountain..
Go into a grocery store and..
..proceed to dump six 1 pound bags of M&M's on the floor and if
someone asks, Say you are "looking for the bag with the most green
ones.."
..grab a bottle of squeeze cheese and draw a homicide chalf line on
the floor..
..walk into the back of the meat section where they have the huge
slabs laying around, and look around at the huge pieces of meat
until someone stops you. Then ask how much they are selling the
huge slabs for..
..ask the manager if the whip cream and dog leashes come with
instructions..
..spell out obscene messages on the floor with chicken nuggets..
Just walk into Radio Shack. The fuckers will hound you, especially if you have
the "punk" look going. Go around the store and fake like you stole something,
making sure to get noticed, and then when they stop you, comlain about how
this happens every time VERY loudly, preferrably when a lolt of people are in
the store..
Return porn magazines to the shelf with all the pages stuck together (with
glue I hope)..
Walk into your local telephone office or AT&T store, and complain loudly about
how much 900 and 976 numbers cost..
Go into the circle K (or wherever they sell slushies now-a-days) and flirt
with the slushy lady, and get her phone number, telling her you find squishy
drink makers attractive..
Walk into a toy store, and pull a whole bunch of matchbox cars out of the
packages and then crash them together, while twitching uncontrollably and
yelling "Beep! Beep!" and "DIE PEDESTRIAN!"..
Go into the animal shelter and go around measuring the dog's dicks, and say
you looking for one with a "big pecker"..
Walk into Sears and exclaim in a loud, high voice "Look at all these
exposed tools!!"
Walk into any resteraunt around lunch time, and look the waiter right in the
eye and say "I'd like the first wiener available, please." and then wink..
Walk into the record stores and ask where the "gay" album section is..

/ \ | \ Shhh Honey, I Think
\__________________/_________ /__________/ It's Right Outside..
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
We had just gotten home from the movies, and my parents still
weren't home. It was about 10:00pm, so it was already dark outside. I
turned on a few lights and asked her what she wanted to do. She said she
wanted to relax on the couch for a little bit, but I had other, more
active, plans. I asked her if she wanted something to drink, and she
said sure, so we walked into my kitchen. As we walked in the door to the
kitchen, I had to stop to marvel. We had just moved in a little while
back, and I was still amazed at how cool and modern it looked.
Straight ahead of me was a full sized window that looked out
upon our side yard, and at our neighbor's house. They also had one, and
it looked directly at ours. Sometimes when I was bored, I'd sit there
and watch my neighbors mill around, and catch a glimpse every once and a
while of their daughter, Millissa. In the middle of this grand kitchen
was a table that we all sat at to eat, do work, etc. On my right was a
door to the porch, and to the left of the door was a sink, dish washer,
and cabinet where we put dishes and other kitchen shit. To the right of
the door it was bare, and across from the door, immediately to the left
of where I was standing, there was a walk-in pantry, where my family
kept a lot of the dried and canned food. To the right of the pantry was
a little table against the wall, and a refrigerator. Anyway, enough of
new homes and gardens, back to reality.
I walked over to the fridge and grabbed a couple of drinks, and
walked back over to the table. We sat down, and she started talking
about one of her classes at school, and what had happened that day. I
wasn't real interested, and my eyes wandered to the window. I was
staring out into our neighbor's house again. I couldn't help it, it was
a habit. I always ended up doing this when my father lectured me too.
They were sitting there watching TV, because they had made that room
that the window was in their living room instead of their kitchen like
we had. I couldn't see Millissa, so bored again, I looked out onto the
street, and noticed something sneaking around in the front yard, trying
hard not to be seen. It was darting from tree to tree, and had a faint
blue light that was scanning the ground in front of it, and then moved
up the walk and pointed at the neighbor's front door. It wandered up,
and then knelt at the door and started playing with the lock. My
girlfriend finally noticed that I wasn't paying attention and said
"Are you listening to me?"
"Hang on, it looks like someone is trying to break into the
neighbor's house."
"What are you crazy," She said, and then her face took on a
different look as I pointed out the figure, still kneeling at the door.
"We have to call the neighbors and let them know before someone gets hurt"
I quickly picked up the phone, heeding her advice, and stood
there, looking out the huge window into their house. Ring... Ring...
"Hello?" A beautiful voice said, which I recognized as
Millissa's.
"Millissa? Look out your window next door" She did, and smiled.
"Hey, what's going on?"
"Well, to be blunt, I think someone is trying to break in your
house."
"What?? Are you serious? Where?"
"It's coming in through your front door. Quick, tell your dad to
get his .44."
"Okay, hang o........"
The line had gone dead, and I was shaking, and uncontrollably at
that. Then I heard a scream. And ear piercing scream, just like you see in
the movies. Except this was real, so real that I watched her wonderful body
be smeared across the window right in front of me, gore coating the window
and it's surroundings. I was surprised that she hadn't gone through the
window, she had been hit so hard by something from behind and her stomach
had been practically thrown all over the window. I dropped the phone, and
my girlfriend screamed. The blue light was inside Millissa's house, and it
was pointing straight at my chest through the two windows. I quickly ducked
down, and moved out of the way, so he couldn't see me through the window.
I then noticed the blue light outside, flashing around in no
apparent pattern. I hushed my girlfriend, as she was quaking in fear, and
about to scream. I put her in the walk-in pantry next to me, and went
and got my knife that was on top of the refrigerator. I strapped the
case to my waist, and then pulled the knife from the belt. It was a
wicked knife, the blade about six inches long, waving in and out,
forming a menacing, jagged, serrated edge, and coming to a double point
like a snakes tongue, with both sides as sharp as the high pitched
scream my girlfriend would have uttered, had I not stopped her. I
pressed myself up against the wall to the side of the door, standing
where I couldn't be seen from outside. I then watched as the strange blue
light came across the porch, and then up over the floor, and then around
and about the kitchen, looking, scanning. It then stopped, and blinked
out like a candle in a warm summer breeze. Then I heard a small click as
it grasped the doorknob and slowly turned it. Then in one swift motion,
the holder of the blue light slammed into the door and burst inside,
gun leveled. Luckily for me, we had installed a little door stopper that
prevented the door from slamming into the wall behind it, and the door
came about two inches from my nose, and then stopped. He saw a movement
on the counter across from him, which was probably a rat, and let his
trigger finger itch run wild. He sprayed the room in a sweeping motion,
not exactly aiming, keeping the weapon at a constant height. My thoughts
flashed for a moment to my girlfriend in the closet, wondering if she
had just stood there, or had the brains enough to duck down. I decide not
to worry about it for the moment and turned my attention back to the
intruder. He had stopped shooting, and stood there, looking around, smoke
wafting from the end of his gun, surveying the room. When he was content
that nothing else in the room was going to move, he took a step forward
and shut the door I was hiding behind. That's when I made my move. I
swung my wicked knife as hard as I could, across the man's throat. This
move took him totally by surprise, and the artery I cut spilled it
precious fluid all over my knife, hand, and arm. I jerked the knife out
of his neck, and turning it so that it pointed downwards in my hand,
buried it to the hilt in his throat, above his breastbone pointing down
towards his heart. The man slowly collapsed to the floor, his life taken
from his body. I breathed a sigh of relief, and stopped for a minute to
compose myself and let my adrenaline wear out. I then thought again about
my girlfriend in the closet, and went to open the door. I stopped with my
hand on the doorknob, and looked at the bullet holes cris-crossing the
door in a pattern like an X stretched out lengthwise. I then slowly
turned the doorknob and looked inside. She was slumped against the back
shelf, her chin on her chest, with no apparent strength in her. I took
one step forward, and put a soft finger under her chin. I gently lifted
her head up and watched in horror as it limply fell over, exposing the
blood coating her throat and chest. The bullets had first swept across
her throat, and then evidently as she was falling, one had entered her
throat above her breastbone, going down towards her heart. I was so
shocked at the gruesome sight that I could only stare in horror. The
agony that filled me was unbelievable, and I looked from her throat to
the bloody knife in my hand, and understood what I had to do. I slowly
brought it up to my navel, and forced it into my gut. I screamed in pain
as I pulled it up my abdomen and into my chest, but not a physical pain.
The pain in my mind was beyond everything else I was experiencing. The
knife cut my breastbone right in half, it was so sharp, and I opened my
chest, exposing my heart and lungs. I grasped my heart in my right hand,
the heart that had given itself to the woman I loved, the woman now
lying with lead imbedded in her body, the lead feared by many yet used
by all, the little lead leeches that suck the life from you and destroy
your happiness and well being. I turned my attention back to my heart,
the heart that people kill, rape, and die for, the heart that causes
people to hurt themselves out of the need for the companionship of
another equally worthless and devilish heart. I despised and hated
this heart, yet needed it to survive this heartless world and obeyed
it's cruel and unusual wishes.
These were the things that ran through my mind as I crushed this
devil in my hand, this devil that we depended on, the devil and
perpetrator of evils that we cannot live without.

i see you.
i see you peeping under my door, watching my feet, watching my dog.
Oh, yes, i know you hired my dog to do your dirty work, i can tell by
the way he avoids my direct stare,
he's guilty.
i bought a gun.
i saw you yesterday
on my way to work. you
were sitting in the large brown van parked illegally
by the hot dog man.
You were pretending to deliver packages.
i know, also, that the lady at the seven-eleven on the corner
of philips and markey
poisoned my slushy for you.
i could taste the belladonna, i spit
it
out
and shot her.
i know you bugged my apartment.
i know you told my landlady about me,
I see the way she looks at me
when i go to pay the rent.
i found the infrared motion detector you put in my toilet,
how clever of you to disguise it as a ty-dee-bol chlorine block.
you had the maintenance man replace my refrigerator with a ballistic
missile.
i can hear the timer ticking away inside.
i know you came in once, on september 13, between 4:30 and 6:15, and
rewired my toaster to send out electromagnetic pulses at a variable
frequency of one-hundred fourteen and one hundred sixty five megahertz.
i could feel it in my brain. So i threw it away.
how clever of you to diguise yourself as a ups man.
of course, you know i cannot let you live.

/ \ | \ HoHoCon '94 Review
\__________________/_________ /__________/
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
I woke up at 7:02, ate breakfast, did a bunch of stuff in the
bathroom, threw on my uXu t-shirt (thanks GNN) and then hopped in the
car for the trip up North. There were three of us in the car, Dr. No (me),
Flatline, and Walrus. It was about two hours north of San Antonio, and
we made good time doing 85 MPH. To amuse ourselves, we read copies of
Guitar World, 2600, and PC Computing magazine. After we tired of that,
we listened to various musical groups on a tape that Flatline made.
These included Bad Religion, Green Day, The Vandals, Weezer, and of
course, the Beatles (including Paul McCartney's "Why don't we do it
in the Road". A classic.).
We arrived in the lobby of the Ramada Inn South at about 9:15.
I canceled my night's reservation, because we couldn't all stay the
night. We proceded to seek out the nearest guys with long hair. We found
them. They had all sorts of stuff with them, including imitation compact
video cameras and stun guns. We faked like we were taping all the Fed-like
looking people who walked through the door, and had fun watching thier
reactions. Photon then came downstairs to smoke a few cigs and to chat
with the newcomers. (he was a co-organizer) He told us about the net room
which was where all the people who had brought computers and had some
sort of UNIX system on it took them, and they were networked all together
and put them on the internet as hohocon.org. He also told us about his own
personal internet site that he keeps up during the year that we could
play with. So far, no one has been able to hack it. He told us how he
made it hard to log in because he had put a password in at the connect.
It didn't even show any prompt, which lead most people to believe that
his system had hung. You had ten seconds to type in a password or else
it'll disconnect. After you type in the password you finally get a login:
prompt. You still have to guess passwords. There are no unix defaults,
except root. He has promised to share root access with anyone good enough
to get through. We also spotted some lady walking by with a huge tote-bag
and a tape recorder. I immediatly piped up "Press!" and Photon went over
to talk to her. She was from Texas Monthly, and was there to do a story on
the con. Bonus. Someone also mentioned that there was a blurb in the paper
about the con that day. Fuck we're 31337.
At 10:00, we went to the first floor where the con was about to
start and had to wait outside the doors while they set everything up.
There was a blind guy there who talked pretty loud and had a real strange
sense of humor, and all the magazines wanted to interview him. While we
waited for the doors to open, we got into a conversation about our internet
access. The three of us were afraid to tell anyone about our account (which
is probably the lowest priced on the planet, even though it has Nazi system
admins) for fear that we would get our asses kicked out of jealousy.
There were probably about 200-300 total at the con, and about three
quarters of those were waiting outside of the doors for them to open. It
was getting quite crowded. As I looked around I noticed that they almost
should have called it a PressCon, because almost the entire group of
people that were by the door were Press and ended up scribling like mad
throughout the entire conferance. I can't wait to see some of the reviews
we get. Finally the door opened. We paid our $10, got our k-spiff red
checkered wrist bands, and we were in.
First we went to check out the tables. Fringeware was selling
some k-spiff t-shirts of Dr. Doobs, 2600, LOD, and miscellaneous
Hacker clothing, stickers, etc. Cable Busters was selling their
descramblers, some guy who looked like a hippie straight out of the 70's
was selling an ATARI and all 6 quadzillion games ever written for it, and
someone else was selling clocks made out of old computer scrap. Later
drunkfux was selling I Love Cops, I Love Feds, I Love Warez, and Taco
Bell/OJ simpson shirts. I have never seen Flatline with so much money,
and so much enthusiasm to spend it.
We then met drunkfux, the red haired, nose ringed, organizer. He was
hooking up a SNES to PC converter. People were playing Mortal Kombat II for
about an hour into the con. There were three speakers before the lunch
break. The first speaker was Jon Lebkowsky of FringeWare, Inc. He talked
about the commericialization of cyberspace and the ongoing effects of
the World Wide Web. He really didn't have a point to his discussion, and
most of his time was actually people asking questions and bitching about
how much commercialization of the internet was preventing people from
using its full resources because it cost so fucking much. About halfway
through his speech everyone started laughing and we turned around to
check out the spectical that had just walked through the door. Two guys
dressed in blue suits, red ties, mirrored glasses and ear pieces had
just walked in. Straight out of In the Line of Fire. It was fucking
hilarious. The guy that was sitting close to us with the fake camera was
dared to get up and act like he was filming them, but he pleasantly
declined the offer. Another guy named Thorn aka Juan Folgers, (who kept
bitching about a 30 something hour bus ride from Washington state) said
he would go get their autograph, and when he asked them, they declined,
saying "Not rigt now son, I'm busy." Then Flatline and Thorn started
drawing pictures of the feds and putting quotes in thier mouths. When
someone asked to see the pictures, they eventually got passed around the
entire con until they ended up in the fed's hands. It was fucking great.
The next speaker was a guy named Internet Master who talked about internet
security and what was happening was the internet engineering task force.
He got up there, spoke, and sat down in like 5 minutes. It seemed like
he almost didn't want to be there. In the intermission between speakers
some fat guy stood up and said "I own a local bar, and I'm going to be
passing around free passes. The "Crazy Lady" will have no cover tonight
for all of you with this pass." I grabbed four. Anyway, the next speakers
were Doug Barnes, Jim McCoy, and Jeremy Porter. They talked mostly about
cryptology and how it is effecting the current internet system as it
gets larger and more commercialized. Douglas Barnes gave a brief
background of cryptography, Jerry Porter gave an overview of current
electronic payment systems and how they were developing, and Jim McCoy
presented notes from an upcoming Primer on Underground Internetworking,
which is the concepts of setting up an "underground internet" sorta
speaking. It was kinda like having a PD board with a k-c00l 31337
Wh4r3ZZZZZZ s3ct10n hidden behind some high-ascii command.
We then had lunch. We went across the highway to dunkin donuts
where we ate three donuts each. Flatline had picked up a "I love Cops"
shirt and hat, and I was afraid some pig might saunter up and strike up
a conversation on why we loved cops so much. We exited quickly, and went
back across the highway to the hotel, and into room 518, the net room.
They had five 486 machines, a 386, a bunch of dumb terminals, and a big
pile of phone crap laying on the floor. It all amounted to two different
internet sites: hohocon.org and hohocon.usis.com. Impressive. Apparently
about 3,000,000 losers tried to hack the site, including ones from sweden,
who were hitting all the POP mail ports and everything else imaginable,
looking for a hole. Can you imagine the eliteness of hacking root on
hohocon.org? heh. The entire net was mainly run by the before mentioned
Photon and his roomate _fool. No one got in. While they were talking,
Photon lit up yet another cigarette, and we watched the smoke in the
sunbeam. It was fucking bad ass, and was like a fractal gone 3d or
something. God I wanted to trip right there and watch that all night.
There was also a sheet on the wall on which everyone signed up to get an
account on hohocon.org so that while you were at the con you could do
whatever you wanted on the internet.
Yet again, we went back to the con. The speaker from before lunch
harped on a little longer about digicash, and then he got off. He basically
put everyone to sleep. Someone teach that dude how to speak. fuck. Anyway,
the next guy who got up was Luke Barrymore aka Deth Vegetable, who was the
guy who wrote the OLD anarchy files Anarchy For Fun And Profit, which
described how to make a pipe bomb, among other things. What had happened
was some little shit in canada thought it would be cool to make a pipe bomb,
and proceded to blow himself up and send himself to the hospital. The sysop
of the board that this kid got the file from was later arrested and
charged with "Inciting Injury to Persons or Property", a felony, and
"Risk of Injury to a Minor". From what Luke said, this guy was on the
police's hit list anyway, and they were just looking for a way to bust
him. Well, Luke, knowing all this information was completely legal and
protected by the First Amendment, raised hell, and submitted a statement
to the court. This earned him a call from every fucking journalist in
the nation, including dateline and CBS. Luke agreed to go onto dateline
with a pre-agreed set of questions, and to his horror, was not asked any
of them by Connie Chung. Instead he was asked "Don't you feel responsible?
Don't you have any remorse?" which is one of those two sided questions
where if you say no, then you're a heartless bastard, and if you say yes,
then she asks "Well, why did you write them then?". Fuck You Connie Chung.
You should die bitch. Anyway, between the jokes he was cracking and his
interesting story, he cought everyone's attention again, and woke all
those who were asleep.
All during the con things were being passed through the
audience. From disks, to flyers, to ads for a satanic orginazation (Mock
Him) it was there. We of course picked up everything, not knowing what
would be handy. Then the raffle came. They had neat-o prizes such as a
210MB hard drive, a 14.4k modem, a 600 baud South Western Bell modem, all
the issues of 2600, Mr. T stickers, autographed posters from Vanilla
Ice (yo, ho, ho!), Traci Lords pornos, South Western Bell Telephone
booths, acoustic couplers, the TAP collection, HOPE shirts, 2600 shirts,
and other assorted stuff. Some asshole had bought like 30 tickets and
won the Traci Lords, all the 2600's, and a few other things. We were
going to jump him, but we decided that the hotel security wouldn't
appreciate it. We didn't win anything. Fuck.
The next speaker was Damien Thorn, the founder and president of
Phoenix Rising Communications and a writer for Nuts & Volts magazine. He
spoke on Cellular Hacking : An Introduction for the Technical Investigator,
and An Extensive Overview of Cellular Modification & Cellular Security. He
showed us several ways at collecting ESN's, what happens when and why you
can modify a cell phone, and showed us a preview of a video he is doing on
cell hacking. He also had a scanner going, and the people in the front row
who could see were writing down the numbers like crazy.
We had to take off at the end of the conferance, because of
personal stuff (fucking KEGS waiting at home!) The stop at Burger King
was interesting, as it seemed there was one of every minorty working
there. Hmm. In Conclusion, overall the con was fucking great. The
schedule worked out well, the only thing on the schedule that changed
was that because the dynamic trio took a little longer than expected,
their speech carried over a few minutes after the lunch break. Other than
that, there were no major downbringings or harbringers during the con. I
don't think anyone was busted this year either, which is also a plus.
Great Quotes from the Con :
- "So what's good in this damn raffle?" - Someone
"Your Mom." - Dfx
- "Have the federal agents left? Okay, we have a Tracy
Lords video...." - Dfx
- "How many tickets did that fucker who won the Tracy
Lords video and the 2600's and... buy?" - Crowd
- "And remember, the public thinks that all hackers
worship Satan.. and rape small animals, and ..." - Deth Vegtable
- "And they sit around with their 40 ouncers of Hot
Chocolate and say 'Get me some Marshmellows BEEATCH'" - Beavis

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Drugs. They've driven the entire nation ape-shit. I'll tell why they shouldn't.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
First of all, I hate categorizing everything under one word.
These are the ways I classify the types of drugs.
1. Tobacco and Alcohol.
These are legalized drugs that can kill you as easily as a gun shot.
2. Marijuana.
An Illegal drug that has never been proven bad for you, and right
now is prescribed 12 people in the US for medical purposes.
3. LSD.
There is a lot of debate about LSD and it's mental side effects,
most studies have concluded that in large dosages it can be harmful.
4. Psychedelics - PCP, Ecstasy, Etc.
Illegal drugs that are Psychoactive, and have been proven deadly.
5. IntraVenous Drugs - heroin, Etc.
This shit is so fucking stupid, it amazes me anyone does it. This
is one way AIDS is spread. Maybe it's not so bad, these people
should die anyway, instead of wasting away my fuckin taxes.
6. Other Shit - Crack, Cocaine, Etc.
Ditto the above. These people tend to be the ones who commit
crimes to get money for drugs, and in their dependence on a
SUBSTANCE they commit murder. Great guys, you're real fucking
people.
Two of these drugs have never been proven to be harmful, and if done right,
are generally safe. The other three will fuck you up BAD and are proven to
kill you sooner or later. The two safest ones are easiest to get (at least
for me), one of the killer ones is relatively easy to get, and the other
two I don't know because I have never inquired. Can you guess which are
which? The two safest - Marijuana and LSD.
I have made a small rule for myself. Anything that is known to
cause you serious damage and/or death is out of my life. I smoked for
quite a while, and have recently quit (again :) because I think I may be
a tad bit hooked. But I am eliminating that out of my life. The reason :
why the fuck do I want lung cancer? I don't give a shit about the pain I
will have to go through, I just have a little consideration for the people
(my kids, wife, parents, etc.) who will have to watch me die. Guys, you
may hate your parents now, (I know I do sometimes) but one day you are
going to love them again because you are not living with them. You will be
in another household, and will begin to appreciate what they did for you.
(And NO my parent's didn't write that.) I'm not saying you should kiss
your parent's asses or anything like that, I'm just saying look at your
future and see what's going happen, and if it's bad, prevent it.
Anyway.
Alcohol. I'm sorry it's just no fun. You can't walk well, you
can puke, and most of all YOU DON'T EVEN REMEMBER WHAT HAPPENED THE NEXT
DAY. Who the fuck wants to get toasted but never remember what happened?
You could have gotten some pussy and never known. That's no fucking fun.
You also have a hangover in the morning, no matter how big/small. I have
never had to pay any sort of physical price for going and smoking a joint
or dropping acid. Okay, sure, chicks are easier to lay when they are
drunk, but have you ever gotten drunk and fucked some ugly chick because
you were toasted? Do you know that when stoned, a chick will get it on
the same way she will on alcohol, but will have more fun? Have you ever
had a sexual experience while stoned? It is something you can't even
imagine, and if you think fucking is great, try it with some weed.
(You) Will blow your (wad) mind.
Anyway, back to the harder drugs. Why would you possibly want to
do any type of narcotic? Number One they will fucking kill your ass
quicker than anything, and Number Two cops love to bust fucking crack
heads and heroin addicts. You take the risk of getting diseases from
shared needles, and you abandon your entire life and become dependent on
something. That's another thing. Anytime you find yourself dependent on
ANYTHING, girlfriend, parents, food, cigarettes, drugs (of any kind),
get rid of it. You are not yourself, and need help. Find a way to do the
same thing, but without being dependent on it.
Now I will talk about a few issues I think all you fucking
right-wing Fundamentalist Christian Pieces of Shit should listen to.
On to my first "good" drug. LSD. Acid, The Purple Haze Maker.
I'm not sure about LSD. I have heard about people who have OD'd before,
and of people that have scratched themselves to death, thinking they
had roaches all over them. Yet I have heard of people who have composed
songs while in La-La land and have gone on to make mega-zillions of
dollars. The secret is being around good people, people who will help
you have a good trip. People who will help you by showing you pretty
things and if you are scared will help you out by saying nice things.
Just in general have a good time. It is all a factor of taking a SMALL
amount and then enjoying it. Never combine drugs, also. Then you have
serious problems. Just pick one at a time, take it, and enjoy it. I
don't think LSD is very safe, then again, I don't think it's very bad
either. When in moderation, it is cool. (just like hacking :)
Big Brother has repressed drugs for years. When you repress
something, or take it away, it becomes more of a fascination for people in
general. That's how people work. Remember that little human trait called
curiosity? That's what I am talking about. In effect, by creating laws
and enforcing rules on people, Big Brother is in effect amplifying a
human's curiosity and desire to break the law. When Big Brother tried to
abolish the most common drug a while back, Alcohol, it didn't work
because the Mafia started moving the shit in by the fucking case. So Big
Brother repealed it, and alcohol now has become a lot more managed than
it used to be. There are age restrictions and limits on what companies
can put in them. Shit, Coca-Cola used to have cocaine in it, and that was
why people kept drinking it. Marijuana is grown in backyards and hidden
bushes, near places where people throw their garbage and toxic chemicals
reside. All this makes it semi-unsafe to use. If legalized, regulations
would be imposed, and people would have a safer way to use the plant.
Holland has taken this course and recently repealed that law, and now
sells marijuana in stores. Their reason for doing this, "Because we
understand that a lot of kids experiment with drugs, and 90% of kids
that experiment with them in High School do not become dependent on them.
Therefore, by providing access to marijuana, most kids will not be
exposed to harder, more deadly drugs." And, Holland's crime rate has
dropped some 23% from last year. Now tell me there is something wrong there.
This leads me to my last point. Everyone knows that as a teen,
you are experimenting with your life to see what you like/dislike. You
develop a defined taste for women, styles, and experiences. Drugs have
always been part of these experiences throughout History. To limit these
experiences are in effect to limit your life. They say marijuana/LSD
spawns creativity, but I really don't think so. I think the effect of an
experience in another mind frame is what spawns creativity. I think
everyone should trip/smoke a bowl once in their life, just to experience
the feeling of being totally different, and out of their usual mindset.
With a little care and effective planning/execution, doing LSD/Juan can
be an life enriching experience and not a detrimental one.
And, in closing, a small quote from the Cypress Hill album _Black_Sunday_
More than 400,000 Americans die from diseases related to cigarette
smoking each year.
More than 150,000 Americans die of alcohol abuse each year.
BUT IN 10,000 YEARS OF USAGE, NO ONE HAS EVER DIED FROM MARIJUANA.

Grandma Mary.
-------------
I am supposed to be sad.
"She died today" they said.
My mother was going up to see her for the last time...
we knew she was going to go.
But my mom never got there in time.
she was D O my mom's A.
I'm supposed to be sad.
I supposed to be in a somber mood.
I am supposed to be unhappy, and mourning.
And yet what do I think about?
Missing a concert.
Missing a keg party.
Missing pleasure.
I am supposed to be sad.
Why?
Because.. because that's how it is.
She's dead they say... they say she did great things.
they are sad to see her go.
Why can't they just accept that fact?
Why?
Because... that's what they've been told.
That's the way it's always been.
I am supposed to be sad.
What if I'm not fucking sad?? Why the fuck do you want to expose me to a
bunch of fucking people who are my distant relatives who I don't even
know who I haven't even fucking seen in 6 years and let their crying and
remorse rub off on me and make me suffer?? Why should you expose me to
the brainwashing that has transformed them into this state? I have my
own fucking morals.. I know what's right for me. I can accept death. I
CAN FUCKING HANDLE IT. IT'S REAL FUCKING EASY. You accept it. That's all
there is to it. She is dead. They will put her in the ground and she
will no longer influence the living people on this planet. Her body will
stay exactly in the condition that she died in because people can not
let her go. "We have to see her for the last time" they say. SHE'S
FUCKING DEAD. GOD DAMN IT, THERE'S NO FUCKING THING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT,
AND IT IS NOT SOMETHING TO BE REMORSED OVER. They should bury her in the
ground where she can return to nature, but nooo... fucking sanitation.
Makes sense, but sucks.
It's 2:00am.
I have to go to work tomarrow.
Fuck.

\__________________/_________ /__________/
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
It was a cool Thrusday night, and I had just stopped at the dark
corner of Whitman and Royal. I pulled out my pack of Winston Selects
and my lighter. "Plaache," I said as I spit it on to the ground. A
new pack of cigerettes and the first one was stale. "Fuckin' bad luck,"
I mumbled to myself as i lit up another one.
"Can I use your light?"
I jumped and then causually turned around. My cigerette froze to my
mouth and my eyes became focused on her chest, like a buzzard about to
attack its prey.
"Well, I don't have all night."
I ruffled my hand inside my jeans pocket and pulled out my lighter.
She moved closer to me and caught a peek at her face as I lit her cig.
"Where are you headed?" she asked, blowing smoke into my face.
Duh. "I was headed to go see a movie...." I quickly made up, not
telling her I had just gotten kicked out of my house.
"Oh yeah? Which one?"
Oh damn it, what is showing? "Point of No Return, it looks like a
pretty cool movie, so I think I'll go check it out."
"Cool," she slured as I noticed her tounge bar, "need a ride there?"
"Yeah, that would be nice."
"Alright," she smiled, "follow me, my car is this way."
How could I say no to that? Had my luck changed for the better or
what? This girl was about my height, slim build. Her hair is unique,
short and orangy-red with long bangs tucked behind her ears.
I follow to the side of her, I feel like a god damn dog.
"This one's mine." pointing to a jet-black Honda Civic. We get in.
"So what is your name?"
"James."
"Bond?"
"Blanc, and you are."
"Oooh sexy, I'm Krista, Krista Pike."
"Nice to meet you, would you like to join me for that movie."
"Hmmm. Answer a few more questions first."
"Okay?" I thought aloud.
"What time of music do you like?"
"Alternative."
"How old are you?"
I paused, "17."
"Are you sure?"
"Well 19 if you look at my ID."
"Cool," she giggled "Do you have a girlfriend?"
"No."
"Okay, I'll go to the movies with you."
"How old are you Krista?"
"23, you are a little young, but you don't look it...." she smiled,
and slowly moved her right hand off the wheel and on to my thigh, and
slowly up to my crotch.
I stopped her hand with mine, and held it there. "Let's just
see where the night takes us okay?" and brushed her hand off of my
stiff theigh.
She smiled, "I can live with that...." We shortly arrived at the
theater and parked along the side. We walked to the exit door. "Wait
here for a sec...." The door opened seconds later and a heard of
fat people from Weight Watchers walk out, Lion King must still be
showing I grabbed the door as it went to close. "Free movies are
more always more fun...." We walked into our theater and sat down.
"Want some popcorn or something?"
"That'd be nice," she said.
I walked out of the theater and mossied my way over to the trash can.
I shnaged 2 cups and a large popcorn. This theater has free refills.
Nothing free is bad. Well except maybe diseases, and jokes people tell,
sex? I'll draw the line there.... I went back to my seat, the movie had
started the theater was empty. We both sat and watched the movie in almost
total silence. About half way through the show she licked my earlobe and
whispered in my ear.
"Lets get out of here."
My hormones woke up from there dead sleep. "Sure thing." Six minutes
later we pull up to a house and get out. "Is this place yours?"
"No, I'm house sitting for some old friends," she replied.
We get inside and I follow her into a bedroom. She pushes me down on
the bed. Within miliseconds she is on me and my tounge is in her esophagus.
All of sudden she pulls back.
"Let me change into something more appealing," she softly whispers.
I can feel my heart pounding as if I'm about to be announced the
ten million dollar publishers clearing house winner. My dick is so hard
I could knock a tree over. I check in my wallet and pull out a stack of
condoms and put them on the bedside table. I hear a movement. Krista
comes out and cracks a whip down before me. "Oh shit...." I mumble as
I look at her closer. She's got a handful of sex toys and edibles, not
to mention her lingere is so hot I could cook eggs on it.
She jumps climbs atop me and purrs. Her hand knocks off the small
stack of contraseptives. "We don't need this kinda shit!" she pauses,
"I swallow." I can tell you right now this is gonna be the kinkiest
night of my life.
The next morning I wake up. Where am I? Oh shit, now I remember.
I look about the room, Krista is not to be seen. Oh well I'm drained,
literally. I get up to go to the bathroom. I wash my face off and notice
a note.
James,
I hoped you would get this.... How was
last nite? I couldn't get enough! I want
your cock in my mouth again soon. Next
time I won't let you off so easy. Sorry
I didn't wanna wake you this morning. You
can let yourself out the unlocked back door,
don't worry about locking it.
Love,
Krista
P.S. If you want some real pussy meet me
tonite at Night Lights coffee shop
on Snapper St. @ 8:30....
I must admit, she is the goddess of kinky. I need a car.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
"One last drag.." I said as I inhaled deeply on my
diminishing cigarette. I threw it down and crushed it with my well
polished combat boots, and walked inside. My dog greeted me and
whined, staring at the door I just came through.
"You wanna go outside boy? Okay, come on."
As I stepped outside the scent of something sweet rushed into
my lungs.. something I couldn't quite place.
"No matter" I thought, and strode into the half illuminated
culdisac in front of my house. I watched, as if from a distance, as
my dog attempted to mark the bushes around my neighbor's home as his
own. As I wander closer to my dog, I noticed a movement out of the
corner of my eye. Something tall, something dark. I slowly turned my
head towards the object, and the silhouette of a man in a trench coat
came into my sight. The mans face suddenly was illuminated in a
fierce red glow as he took a drag of a cigarette.
"Come here often?" He said and then burst into a sadistic gale
of laughter.
"Who the fuck are you?" I said.
"Why I'm the devil, Aaron. And I've come to posses your soul."
"Shut the fuck up before I kill your stupid fucking worthless ass."
"Okay, I was just kidding, I'm not the Devil, but I know him
_real_ well Aaron. He and I go WAY back.. back almost to the dawn of
time."
"What kinda crazy fuck are you anyway? And how do you know my
name? Did the boys at work put you up to this?"
"I know what you think, Aaron. I know that when you walked
outside after you went in you smelled something strange. Ain't that
right?"
"Yeah, how the fuck did you know that?"
"You know what that smell was?"
"Who the fuck are you?"
"That was your blood. Dripping down from your neck to your toes.
Coating your body in a thick red layer of loveliness. Take a look, I'm
sure it's still there."
I glanced down, and he was right. My entire body was now covered
in blood.
I screamed.
My eyes opened to blackness, and my head began to swim. I tried
to sit up, but couldn't for some reason. I looked around, and realized I
was staring at the sky. It was still nighttime, and I could see the
planet of Mars right above me, the sky's red cigarette cherry. I
listened for sounds of the man and, hearing none, tried to move. It was
only then that I realized I had no feeling in any part of my body. I
tried to move, but couldn't raise my head to look at my feet. I was in a
permanent gaze towards the stars.
I screamed.
Or my mind screamed. I heard no sound, and neither did anyone
else. The world was finally silent.

* THE NEW AND IMPROVED BEIGE BOX *

<Intro by REGEL>
Well, folks, the creator of the infrared box has another text phile for you.
Well, you have seen beige boxes before, so you are probably wondering why I am
doing another one. Well, it seems as though all of the other philes never
include the monitor mode and the polarity indicator that the linemans handset
has. If you are not familiar with those added features, the monitor mode allows
you to tap someone elses fone line and listen in on their calls, and the
polarity indicator shows if the line is canceled, or if you have the alligator
clips reversed. BY READING FURTHER ON INTO THIS TEXT FILE, YOU RELEAVE REGEL OR
ANYONE ELSE OF RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR ACTIONS.
Parts Required
(all available from Radio Shack)
--------------------
1 - One piece phone
1 - Red LED
1 - Green LED
1 - 1K (1000) ohm resister (color bands are brown, black, red)
1 - push button
1 - 1000 ohm to 8 ohm audio transformer
1 - .47uf(micro farad) 250 volt capacitor
1 - DPDT toggle switch
2 - alligator clips
X - some wire
ASSEMBLY OF UNIT
----------------
First, the monitor feature:
1. Disconnect the ring(red) line from the phone circuit board and
connect it to the center pole of one side of the switch.
(see diagram is confused)
2. Run a wire from one leg of the same side as the center pole of
step #1 to the point on the phone circuitry where the ring used
to be.
3. Connect one side of the capacitor to the remaining leg on that
same side.
4. Connect the other lead of the capacitor to the blue wire of the
transformer.
5. Connect the black wire of the transformer to the phone circuit
board where the tip(green) connection is.
6. Connect the white wire of the transformer to one of the earpiece
terminals.(it doesn't matter which one)
7. Disconnect the other speaker wire from the phone circuit board
and connect it to the free center pole on the switch.
8. Connect the red transformer wire to the leg on the switch next
to the leg where the capacitor joins.
9. The last leg on the switch should be connected to where the
speaker wire was removed from the phone circuit board.
10. Do the Polarity indicator instructions.
Second, the polarity indicator:
1. Connect the anode(long wire) of the green LED to the cathode
(short wire) of the red LED. Connect the cathode of the green
LED to the anode of the red LED.
2. Connect one end of the resistor to the ring line on the phone,
and the other end to one leg of the pushbutton.
3. Connect the other leg of the pushbutton to the anode of the green
LED.
4. Connect the phone tip line to the cathode of the green LED.
USE OF UNIT
-----------
To use the unit connect the alligator clips to a red and black wire
and then to the appropriate terminals on the phones ring and tip.
Then connect them to the terminals on a trunk and push the button.
If the green LED lights up, then the clips are connected properly. If
the red LED lights up, then the clips and reversed. To use the monitor
mode, connect the beige box up properly and then flip the switch. In
one position the phone works like a regular phone, but in the other
position, it monitors the line, in essance, a phone tap. This means
that you hear what is going on exactly on the line. You won't hear
a dialtone unless a person on the line you are tapping picks up their
phone. In monitor mode you can hear all, but say nothing. That about
convers it all.
