Conference Moderators (CM) and Conference Hosts (CH).
|
|
|
|
The Conference Moderator is the Network Coordinator's designated
|
|
representative. Moderators are the system operators of electronic
|
|
telecommunications systems that are homes to ADAnet conferences.
|
|
Duties of the Conference Moderator shall include:
|
|
|
|
(a) administrate conferences and designate Conference Hosts,
|
|
|
|
(b) maintainance as needed on conferences,
|
|
|
|
(c) advise the Network Coordinator regarding conference
|
|
problems. The Network Coordinator will appoint the Conference Moderator
|
|
to serve at his pleasure, for any length of term.
|
|
|
|
2. Conference Hosts are designated by the Conference Moderator.
|
|
Conference Hosts are responsible for their conferences and guide the
|
|
discussion areas. Their duties include:
|
|
|
|
(a) provide bulletins to nodes carrying their conference for
|
|
the purpose of clarification and/ or information;
|
|
|
|
(b) define what should and should not be discussion areas
|
|
within each ADAnet conference; and
|
|
|
|
(c) provide guidance to all concerned with legal
|
|
responsibilities and/or disclaimers. The Host may be responsible for
|
|
providing to the Conference Moderator a description of the conference,
|
|
it's aims, and the scope of the conference.
|
|
|
|
3. The Conference Host for the Network Administration
|
|
Conference, or any conference or device used by ADAnet as a administrative
|
|
net-wide Electronic Mail and message distribution channel which services
|
|
all nodes within ADAnet, is the Network Coordinator. An Assistant Network
|
|
Coordinator may be appointed by the Network Coordinator with the advise
|
|
and consent of DLF to act as the Assistant Host of the Network
|
|
Administration Conference.
|
|
|
|
|
|
*** Hosts are the real live people that manage each conference listed,
|
|
keeping the discussions within the scope of the particular
|
|
conference.
