The package doesn't exist anymore (even the deprecation notice is gone
[0]) and the build is currently broken:

The build was broken [0] due to an incorrect dependency (not sure why it
was working before, maybe the libraries where compatible).

Unfortunately this package was unmaintained for years, which is why I
had to change quite some stuff (it's probably still not perfect) and set
myself as maintainer (replacing the existing ones, which maintained it
until version 1.9).
A new dependency (at-spi2-atk) is required for libatk-bridge-2.0.so.
Also libstdc++.so.6 is now required from stdenv.cc.cc.lib (stdenv.cc.cc
doesn't offer it). The binary will only find libstdc++.so.6 via
$LD_LIBRARY_PATH (i.e. not via rpath, the run-time search path).
According to the dbus-launch documentation [0] "--exit-with-session"
shouldn't be used: "This option is not recommended, since it will
consume input from the terminal where it was started; it is mainly
provided for backwards compatibility." And it also states: "To start a
D-Bus session within a text-mode session, do not use dbus-launch.
Instead, see dbus-run-session(1)."
The new wrapper also avoids starting an additional D-Bus session if
DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS is already set.

I was testing the build on nixos-unstable but
64d50a0099 added another patch. Since this
patch is already in 0.48.0 it can't be applied again (overriding Meson
isn't optimal but we can't build wlroots with 0.46.1).
I've also dropped the "-Dxcb-xkb=enabled" flag since it was removed
(replaced with Xinput).

Use this patch until something like it is in the upstream repository.
Without it, the current date is used for the man pages, which makes them
non-reproducible.
Rootston is just a reference compositor so it doesn't make that much
sense to have a module for it. Upstream doesn't really like it as well:
"Rootston will never be intended for downstream packages, it's an
internal thing we use for testing." - SirCmpwn [0]
Removing the package and the module shouldn't cause much problems
because it was marked as broken until
886131c243. If required the package can
still be accessed via wlroots.bin (could be useful for testing
purposes).

sks,nixos/sks: Various minor improvements
Module:
- Add a webroot option (serve a website by default, makes the setup easier)
- Explicitly set a group (instead of using 65534/nogroup)
- Move pkgs.sks from environment.systemPackages to the "sks" user and add pkgs.db
Package:
- Adapt the output of "sks version" to NixOS
- Copy the example webpages to $webSamples
That way the built-in web server is usable by default but users can use
$HOME/web directly (instead of having to use a symlink), if they want to
customize the webpage.
Without a group the gid will default to 65534 (2^16 - 2) which maps to
"nogroup". IMO it makes more sense to explicitly set a valid group.
Adding pkgs.sks to environment.systemPackages is not required (IIRC we
want to avoid bloating environment.systemPackages). Instead it seems
like a better idea to make the relevant binaries available to the user
sks and enable useDefaultShell so that "su -l sks" can be used for
manual interaction (that way the files will always have the correct
owner).
