Rodney Lorrimar 3e446ecd56 nixos/buildkite-agent: fix variable expansion in hook scripts 
@cleverca found this bug in the declarative hooks config. Any shell
variables referenced in a hook script would get expanded by the hooks
directory builder.

Prevent variable expansion by quoting the here doc limit string.

Rodney Lorrimar 56eba66f77 mysqlBackup service: let it work with default settings 
* Grants enough privileges to the configured user so that it can run
  mysqldump.

* Adds a nixos test.

* Use systemd timers instead of a cronjob (by @fadenb).

* Creates a new user for backups by default, instead of using mysql
  user.

* Ensures that backup user has write permissions on backup location.

* Write backup to a temporary file before renaming so that a failed
  backup won't overwrite the previous backup, and so that the backup
  location will never contain a partial backup.

Breaking changes:

 * Renamed period to calendar to reflect the change in how to
   configure the backup time.

 * A failed backup will no longer result in cron sending an e-mail --
   users' monitoring systems must be updated.

Resolves #24728

Rodney Lorrimar 913e770fa8 guile-lib: Disable a test which doesn't work with Guile 2.2 
Error is:

    ERROR: Unbound variable: use-syntax
    FAIL: sxml.ssax.scm

Also add pkg-config so that configure script can find libguile.

Rodney Lorrimar 6460e459de nixos/gogs: Fix module when no passwords provided 
If neither database.password or database.passwordFile were provided,
it would try and fail to coerce null to a string.

This fixes the situation where there is no password for the database.

Resolves #27950

1. Needs to call makeTest or else nothing happens when you run
   `nix-build nixos/tests/postgresql.nix`.

2. Tests run as root, so there needs to be a corresponding user in
   PostgreSQL.

Rodney Lorrimar a9f66fa4cf csound: add optional libraries 
Adds extra bells and whistles:

 - jack
 - ladspa
 - fluidsynth
 - fltk (for the virtual keyboard)
 - curl
 - gettext

The most important one is jack but I added other dependencies which
seemed sensible and were mentioned by the configure script.

I was getting the following error building tide from Melpa:

    File tide-20170509.1134.tar is large (10.2M), really open? (y or n) Error reading from stdin
    builder for ‘/nix/store/gs9ik7yf8iilsikkfing74i70m0diax3-emacs-tide-20170509.1134.drv’ failed with exit code 255
    cannot build derivation ‘/nix/store/m3p080aani4rw82llp8nqk93cw2nvirk-emacs-with-packages-25.2.drv’: 1 dependencies couldn't be built

Solution was to disable the large file warning threshold when
installing packages.

Rodney Lorrimar db14ea3926 longview service: don't write passwords to nix store 
Adds services.longview.{apiKeyFile,mysqlPasswordFile} options as
alternatives to apiKey and mysqlPassword, which still work, but are
deprecated with a warning message.

Rodney Lorrimar 252e58a95e pump.io: 1.0.0 -> 3.0.0 
The package stopped building for some unknown reason (npm could no
longer fetch a module).

This is one of the build failures listed in #23253.

Easiest fix is to upgrade to latest stable version and regenerate
packages with node2nix.

The databank-memcached dependency needed to be dropped due to
dependency failures.

Rodney Lorrimar 6d7b77df0a mongodb: Fix default storage engine on i686 
MongoDB will refuse to start on i686 because the default database engine
"wiredTiger" doesn't support it. To reduce user annoyance, the default
engine should be changed to the pre-3.0 engine "mmapv1".

Rodney Lorrimar 73d2a2c23a get_iplayer: fix outputs and add man page 
Package stopped building after closure-size merge because
buildPerlPackage has docdev in its default outputs.

There is also a decent man page in the source distribution, which I
added to the "man" output.

Rodney Lorrimar 457eddd18f bower2nix: 2.1.0 -> 3.0.1 
1. Update bower2nix version and add new/updated dependencies into
   node-packages-generated.nix. This was done manually, with npm2nix
   generating the initial set of derivations. In future, it would be
   nice to have an automatic process (see #10358, #9332).

2. Add an override to nodePackages.bower2nix wrapping the commands so
   that git is on the PATH.

3. Update fetchbower to support new command-line options of bower2nix,
   and to allow github URL tag versions.

Rodney Lorrimar 242c24c402 fail2ban: python packaging workaround for /etc/fail2ban installation (fixes #11534) 
Removed path substitutions from setup.py because these should be handled
by the setuptools install prefix.

Except that the install prefix won't quite work until issue #4968 is
resolved.

In the meantime there are preInstall and postInstall scripts so that
this package continues to work with the nix python packaging
improvements.
