The upstream patch for distutils does not apply cleanly to Python
3.7.3's sources. (The patch applies cleanly to Python 3.7.2's sources,
but nixpkgs commit 0ddae82e6a upgraded
Python to 3.7.3.) Fix the patch to make python37 build on macOS.
Commit 1279016787 broke building
nixpkgs.clangStdenv (stdenv-darwin) on macOS:

Remove gettext's build dependency on Bison to avoid this error, fixing
Nixpkgs on macOS.
To avoid rebuilding everything unnecessarily on Linux, only apply these
changes to macOS and keep the Bison dependency for Linux.
Install the `kitty` command-line utility and the `kitty.app` macOS
application.
* Prefer libicns (png2icns) over Apple's non-free iconutil.
* Work around warnings from Apple headers by disabling -pedantic-errors
and -Werror.
* Work around ld not support LLVM-LTO by disabling LTO.
* Make Kitty and glfw compile for macOS 10.11 (and macOS 10.10).
During iterm2's build, xcodebuild invokes $LD and passes it options such
as -isysroot. These options are intended for the linker driver (clang),
not for the linker directly. ld64 ($LD) does not recognize these
options, causing iterm2's build to fail.
Set $LD to $CC (clang) as intended, making iterm2's build succeed.
As of Nix 2.0, building the `user-environment` package on macOS (Darwin)
fails because LLVMgold.so is a broken symlink. Fix the issue by not
creating the symlink in the first place, since it wouldn't be used on
Darwin anyway.
Throughout the evolution of the Clang packages, some comments have
become misplaced. Put some of Clang's postInstall comments next to the
lines they refer to.
