If the `seedAddresses` is not set, don't force `SimpleSeedProvider` to
be in `seed_provider`. This could cause problems in a multi-datacenter
deployment when a different seed provider is preferred.
Below that it works but only when supplying a custom password file with
restricted permissions (i.e. outside the nix-store). We can't do that
using an absolute path in the tests.
If you're on a multi user system you don't want to have the password in
the nix-store. With the new jmxRolesFile option you can specify your own
protected file instead.
Would previously overwrite the binary with the wrapper and thus wrap
itself (resulting in an infinite recursion on execution) for the
binaries in /bin.t
Seems like you can't have a node as its own seed when it's listening on
an interface instead of an IP. At least the way it was done in the
test doesn't work and I can't figure out any other way than to just
listen on the IP address instead.

Drop the legacy, unmaintained version and use the fork for real.
Commit "patchShebangs: Allow for multiple arguments" 4a1e51f957
removed the check. We don't want to break existing usages so this
introduces it again with a successful exit code.
Upstream provides a much more featureful desktop entry file. If we use
that we take advantage of all of those features and don't have to maintain it
ourselves.
It's tempting to think patchShebangs supports multiple arguments.
Without this patch it just silently ignores all but the first. Now it
patches the shebangs in all of its arguments.

`updateScript` lets us update packages automatically.
For packages that are hosted on the gnome mirror it's very easy to add
that. Inspired by https://github.com/NixOS/nixpkgs/issues/36150
This package should only install the xmonad manpage but not GHC's (it
doesn't even install GHC in the path). Installing both manpages makes
this package conflict with the GHC derivation.

It doesn't have to be that complicated with the major and minor versions
being split. We have library functions that handle it fine.
passthru.upateScript can be enabled once #59372 is merged
The pcf version seems to be incompatible with newer FreeType versions
and hence doesn't show up in `fc-list`. A bdf file format is also
available. After packaging that the font shows up in `fc-list`.

lib.optional returns a singleton or an empty list. Therefore the
argument does not need to be wrapped in a list.
An alternative patch could have used lib.optionals but seems like no
more elements are going to be added to the optional list.
Previously the parameters were just dropped. Now they can be read
from within the handler script. An example to show this is added.
